All applicants will need to submit an application for licensure. A National Board of Respiratory Care certification verification is required for all applicants. The certifications can be retrieved by contacting the NBRC and requesting a verification be sent directly to the board office.

468.355 Licensure requirements. To be eligible for licensure by the board, an applicant must be an active “certified respiratory therapist” or an active “registered respiratory therapist” as designated by the National Board for Respiratory Care, or its successor.
